An Alternate Document New Interface

It is quite often a requirement of ours that the users are given a simplified Document New interface by the client. This is to address two potential problems with the default Word environment which are:
- The Document New toolbar button creates a document based upon the Normal.dot template when, quite often, a purpose built blank template would be better.
- A simplified dialog box showing only a predetermined selection of templates for the user.

So when the user clicks on the Document New button or requires a new document via the File menu the following dialogue appears:

This code can be downloaded from here and placed into Word's start-up folder.
